We independently select and recommend festivals, destinations, venues, gear and experiences based on editorial merit, not affiliate relationships. Our recommendations are based on research, user feedback and practical experience.

Official-source verification

We verify festival dates, venues, policies and logistics against official sources. We link to official websites and show when information was last verified. If we cannot verify information, we do not publish it.

Labeling estimates, opinions and sponsored content

We clearly label estimates, opinions and sponsored content. We distinguish between verified facts and educated guesses. Affiliate links are marked with "sponsored" attributes.

How affiliate relationships are separated from editorial decisions

Affiliate relationships do not determine which festivals, destinations or gear we recommend. We may recommend products or services we do not have affiliate relationships with. We may decline to recommend products or services we do have affiliate relationships with if they do not meet our standards.

Update frequency and "last verified" rules

We update guides when information changes. Every guide shows a "last verified" date. Guides older than 90 days are flagged for review. We prioritize updates for upcoming events.

AI assistance disclosure

AI may support our workflow, including research, drafting and editing. However, a human editor reviews all published content before it goes live. We do not publish AI-generated content without human review and verification.
